Gestación subrogada: Conceptos actuales

RESUMEN

La maternidad subrogada es una técnica de reproducción asistida que da la oportunidad a mujeres con ausencia de útero funcional, parejas homosexuales y hombres solteros de reproducirse. Se ha demostrado la tasa de éxito en estos casos, pero también el aumento de complicaciones obstétricas en las portadoras gestacionales. Ante el aumento del acceso a la información, los pacientes demandarán este tipo de tratamientos, por lo que tenemos que conocer las definiciones, así como los derechos tanto, de los padres como de la madre subrogada.
