Teratoma gástrico mixto, reporte de caso

RESUMEN

El teratoma gástrico es usualmente benigno. Se presenta el caso de un paciente masculino de dos meses edad en quien se detectó una masa abdominal. Los estudios de ultrasonido y TAC de abdomen demostraron un tumor grande en la curvatura mayor del estómago; por endoscopía se observó crecimiento intragástrico en la región del cardias. El tratamiento fue quirúrgico, con gastrectomía y resección total de la tumoración. El diagnóstico de patología fue de teratoma maduro gástrico. El seguimiento por cinco años no ha revelado datos de recidiva ni malignidad.
