RESUMEN

Se presenta un caso de atresia de colon tipo IIIa, sometida a ileostomía temporal y cierre posterior con evolución satisfactoria tres años después. Conclusiones. Las manifestaciones clínicas de la atresia de colon no son muy diferentes a otros tipos de obstrucción intestinal, por lo que se debe tener siempre presente como diagnóstico diferencial.
