El exponente de hurst como parámetro de análisis de señales del EEG para comprender la cognición humana: una revisión

RESUMEN
El siguiente trabajo es una revisión de los artículos que utilizan el
exponente de Hurst para analizar señales de
electroencefalograma. La búsqueda se realizó en las bases de
datos Medline/Pubmed y Scopus, obteniendo un total de 37
artículos que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión (publicados
entre el 1° de enero del 2000 y 31 de diciembre de 2019, idioma
español o inglés, artículos de investigación y estudios realizados
con seres humanos). El 64,9% de los trabajos se avocan a la
comprensión de la actividad cerebral en estados de reposo o
durante la resolución de problemas cognitivos y un 27% se
orientan a la categorización de señales por parte de software o
sistemas clasificatorios. Se concluye la necesidad del estudio
individual de la actividad cerebral, ya que los exponentes de Hurst
muestran una actividad muy diversa entre los sujetos, aun
realizando la misma tarea o sometidos a las mismas
intervenciones.
