RESUMEN

Tomando como base los elementos ofrecidos por la Organización Mundial de la Salud, relacionados con pautas para la prevención y tratamiento de pacientes con COVID-19 y experiencias del personal médico que atiende a estos pacientes durante el periperatorio, además de una revisión de la literatura actualizada al respecto, se ofrecen recomendaciones sobre el manejo de pacientes con COVID-19, durante los cuidados por parte del anestesiólogo.
