FRAGMENTO

El presente trabajo se deriva de una serie de reuniones de miembros de la Sociedad Mexicana de Nutrición y Endocrinología, que fueron invitados a elaborar un documento que muestre la posición de la SMNE en el diagnóstico y tratamiento del nódulo tiroideo. El objetivo del presente documento es ofrecer una visión integral y una estrategia aplicable para el estudio de este tipo de pacientes, la cual contribuya a obtener el mayor beneficio de las herramientas diagnósticas y terapéuticas a nuestro alcance y de los avances tecnológicos por venir.
