ABSTRACT

To evaluate the degree of Satisfaction of the postoperated patients of traumatic pathology and hip, knee and femoral surgery like: arthroplasties, femoral and tibial osteotomies, as well as ligamentary lesions. In the Hospital of Trauma and Orthopedics “Lomas Verdes” (HTOLV) a prospective comparative and transversal study was made, through a test design. In the period between the month of march of 2003 to february of 2004. Two groups of 86 persons each one were designed, which were treated by: In home Specialized Medical Visits and attention in External Consult in the conventional manner, getting to the conclusion that the home Specialized Medical Attention generates a major degree of Satisfaction in the patients and their family, in relation to the attention receives through the External Consult. We made this conclusion with a very low probability of alfa mistake (p > 0.001).
