ABSTRACTIn the current SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, little attention has been paid to the pediatric population due to its low morbidity and mortality. Due to the wide spectrum of presentation of this disease, in pediatric patients, it is necessary to recognize its different clinical presentations and the importance of pre-anesthetic evaluation in elective and emergency procedures in order to avoid the exposure of health personnel with infected patients and to reduce the perioperative morbidity in the pediatric patient with COVID-19.
