ABSTRACT

More than 30 years ago, all forecasts pointed to the fact that the most important health problems in the 21st century would be stress, diabetes, hypertension and obesity, today, all these interact becoming serious threats to our health but, in these times when the COVID-19 pandemic makes its appearance, stress has become a central issue that must be understood and managed properly to avoid disorders that can alter our physical and mental health, even affecting the family, social and work spheres.
