ABSTRACT

Severe dengue during pregnancy is associated with a high risk of uncertain fetal status, cesarean delivery, and maternal mortality, and potentially an increased risk of obstetric hemorrhage, preeclampsia, and eclampsia. Dengue is a systemic and dynamic infectious disease. Prenatal diagnosis allows treatment planning always in favor of a multidisciplinary and individualized approach. Statutes of clinical approach in Dengue were standardized in the perinatal maternal health setting creating a checklist and a new trend of obstetric early warning or warning system.
