Palatine aspergilosis in leukemia patients: three pediatric cases

ABSTRACT
We report three cases of palate aspergillosis in three paediatric patients with leukemia (LAL-M2, LAL-M3, LAL-M7). The diagnosis was performed by mean detection of galactomanan antigen for
Aspergillus species, direct observation of hyphal elements in necrotic and granulomatous tissues and culture. After receiving intravenous amphotericin B therapy two patients were cured and one not responded.
