ABSTRACT

The intention of this article is to propose an ethical position in the personal relationships, in the context of psychotherapeutic processes, between therapists and consultants as well as in the therapeutic training, from the perspective of systemic-dialogical therapy. This approach implies relational responsibility, that has to attend reflexion about the therapists’ positioning, focus on their emotions and stand according with them. It is important to distinguish different ways of relating with significant others, in a conformational way. It is relevant to analyze contexts and their problems, to approach significant others, discuss uncertainty, excessive focusing on techniques and efficiency of therapy, change dilemmas. We propose ti stimulate conversations and dialogue, that consider power relationships and gender perspective, diversity and complexity, plurality of persons and contexts, multiple reality constructions, to reach relational responsibility and ethical stance in clinical contexts.
