ABSTRACTAcute affection of the scrotum or testicular torsion in pediatric is infrequency. The diagnosis and treatment should be as soon as possible with the intention to avoid an orchiectomy. We had a teenage patient with clinical evolution for more than 7 hours with testicular torsion and he under were for section of the sex gland. The pathology report was hemorrhagic necrosis. This case motivated to transmit our experience and reviewed some current references.
