ABSTRACT

Promoting the identification of the presence of risk factors for delirium and the presence of delirium through standardized evaluations to reduce its incidence, as well as promoting the improvement of the health condition is of utmost importance. Therefore, being aware of the risk factors for delirium, its early evaluation, and proposals for non-pharmacological intervention have a positive and significant impact on the health system and the patient's environment.
