ABSTRACT
At present the nursing management must be based on evidence therefore the nursing professional that is performed in the area cardiologic needs to have solid knowledge on the record and interpretation of the electrocardiogram of surface, already frequently must take decisions in this regard, for the ministration of pharmac’s antiarrhythmics and electrolytes, or in situations more critical as in the reanimation cardiopulmonary advanced. In the formats that elaborates the nurse in the clinical process of the National Institute of Cardiology Ignacio Chávez, have a space for the placement of the record and interpretation of the electrocardiograms. Objective: To value the efficiency level in the record and interpretation of the outline electrocardiography that accomplishes the nursing personnel in the formats of the clinical process and to validate the actions derived from the diagnostic. Material and methods: It is accomplished a descriptive study, transverse, the universe was constituted by the records elaborated by the nursing personnel in five services; of the 12 of April to the 30 of May of the year 2003; it was elaborated an audit certificate with 10 articles, weighted with 30 points; it was accomplished a pilot test to validate the certificate and they were evaluated 788 files. Results: The entice of global efficiency was of 43.9%. Conclusions: To know the efficiency level in the record and interpretation of the outline electrocardiography, permits to elaborate a program where is integrated the theoretical knowledge and the attitude change with respect to the fact of knowing to detect the disorders of the pace and of the conduct, as a means of to grant specific nursing cares cardiovascular that helping to the attention of quality based on evidence.REFERENCES
