ABSTRACT

Loose anagen hair syndrome (LASH) is an underdiagnosed condition, benign and self-limiting. It is characterized by the easy detachment of the hair in its anagen phase due to the alteration generated in the inner and the outer root sheath. The autosomal dominant or sporadic association is known through an isolated presentation, or related with different syndromes. The presence of this pathology occurs in pediatrics patients, mainly girls from two to nine years old.
Here we report the case of two pediatric patients with hair loss and lack of hair growth.
