ABSTRACT

Pemphigus vulgaris (PV) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by the presence of blisters and erosions. Patients often develop these lesions on the scalp. However, the presence of alopecia is considered rare. We report an unusual case of alopecia secondary to pemphigus vulgaris in a 55-year-old woman who did not show improvement with systemic treatment.
