ABSTRACT

The use of the mesotherapy technique as a therapeutic alternative has been described for several decades, it is based on the infiltration of drugs into the dermis as a route of direct and indirect administration of drugs. Currently, this method has become popular for the application of medications in various pathologies of the scalp, such as androgenetic alopecia (aga). One of the currently used medications applied by mesotherapy is dutasteride, for which we carry out a review narrative of the literature on the mesotherapy technique for the application of this medication as an alternative or in association with oral therapy with antiandrogens.
