Pulmonary contusion without respiratory repercussion in a child

ABSTRACT
The pulmonary contusion has been attributed to an abrupt compression of the thorax, just as in the resuscitation maneuvers. In this report we describe a case of severe pulmonary contusion in a boy of 15 months of age with hemophilia, without respiratory repercussion.
