ABSTRACT

The medical treatment of patients with Congestive Heart Failure, functional class III-IV, has improved the quality of life, but have not reduced mortality. One group of these patients courses with intraventricular conduction delay and interventricular asynchrony, which worsens ventricular function. Resynchronization therapy is a novel alternative for the management of these individuals.
