ABSTRACT

Introduction: rhomboidal transposition flaps are full-thickness pedunculated flaps useful for the repair of small or medium- sized nasal surgical defects.
Materials and methods: two clinical cases of cutaneous tumors located in the nose treated with micrographic Mohs surgery are reported, which were repaired with two different variants of the rhomboid flap.
Results: both patients did not present any postsurgical complication, showing an excellent functional and aesthetic result.
Conclusions: the rhomboidal transposition flaps differ by their design based on angled straight lines, with which an optimal aesthetic result is obtained, preserving the nasal architecture.
