ABSTRACT

The present study is a short term evaluation of the results of arthroplasty total of knee of type movable subject of gossip with external-internal rotation‡. Being a ambispective, longitudinal study, that is the first report in Mexico to publish in relation to this new group of arthroplasty. Arthroplasty was made in 7 patients of who 2 were of masculine sex and 5 feminine ones, with age average of 61 years (in rank 40 and 82 years, with a standard deviation of 11.2 years). Being made arthroplasty of bilateral form it synchronizes in three patients being taken part with more frequency the right knee (7 rights and 3 lefts), Of the patients: 2 presented/displayed rheumatoid Arthritis and 5 an unstable mechanical Gonartrosis; presenting/displaying angular deformity in I beach in 8 knees and 2 in I am worth, of which the deformity varied of 3º a 20º preoperating (average 10.4º with a standard deviation of 5.7º) and in the postoperating one they presented/displayed angle Femorotibial between 4º I beach to 6 of I am worth, with an average of 4.2º. Being a study with a time of pursuit of between 30 and 48 weeks (pursuit PROM 38.6 weeks). The evolution to the present date in the patients single in 1 case (10%) presents/displays slight pain (patient with bilateral ATR it synchronizes), with mobility arcs which vary between 120º to 140º (average 131.5º), without presenting/displaying until the moment it fails biological or aseptic, without presenting/displaying until the moment complications of type cardiac and circulation or some other complication. These presented/displayed to the pre surgi cal valuation with the scale of the Society of Knee (KS) a score of 32 to 53 pts (with Average of 42.2 pts), with a DE pre surgical. Of 7. 20802 and a Standard Error of 2.27; and post surgical KS of 92.2 pts. (With ranks between 88 to 95 pts.), DE posop of 2.9364 and a Standard Error of a 0.92 for our group, having interval of confidence of 37.04 preoperating and 90.09 postoperating and one P = 0.00001 for statistical the test t-Student, in the comparison of the presurgical one to the postchirurgic. However we tried to make a comparison to the study of Callagham 4 ks preoperating average of 30 pts (rank of 2 to 70 pts) and ks postoperating of 90 pts (rank of 63 to 102 pts). These presented/displayed to the presurgical valuation with the scale of the Society of knee (KS) a score of 32 to 53 pts (with Average of 42.2 pts), with a DE pre surgery. Of 7.20802 and a Standard Error of 2.27 and post surgery KS of 92.2 pts. (With ranks between 88 to 95 pts), DE post surgery. Of 2,9364 and a Standard Error of a 0.92 for our group, having interval of confidence of 37.04 preoperating and 90.09 postoperating and one P = 0.0001 for statistical the test t-Student, in the comparison of the presurgical one to the postchirurgic. However we tried to make a comparison to the study of Callagham 4 ks preoperating average of 30 pts (rank of 2 to 70 pts) and ks postoperating of 90 pts (rank of 63 to 102 pts), not being possible a statistical comparison with our study by the great difference of sample, as well as not to have some other specific statistical data that are not reported in their article.
