Case report: newborn with pentalogy of Cantrell

ABSTRACT

Pentalogy of Cantrell (POC) is a rare congenital disorder characterized by lower sternal defect, diaphragmatic defect, pericardial defect, supraumbilical abdominal wall abnormalities, the incidence is 1 in 5.5 million live births. Case report was gathered from medical records, with ultrasound diagnosis at week 12 of gestation The cardiac defect was incompatible with life, without a genetic study.
