ABSTRACT

Extramammary Paget’s disease (EMPD) is a rare indolent intraepithelial adenocarcinoma that clinically mimics inflammatory conditions. It commonly involves the colon, rectum, anus, and genital area. It is frequently found in women, with a mean of 50-80 years of age. It is a polymorphous entity, which can be confused with a large number of differential diagnoses, hence the importance of taking a biopsy in a timely manner in the event of an erythematosquamous itchy lesion that does not improve with conventional therapy. We present the case of a 65-year-old male with EMPD in the scrotal region.
