Unicystic ameloblastoma. Case report

ABSTRACT
A case of a 15 year old female with a radiological lesion of the third inferior molar without pain, mass deformity or facial paresthesia. No pathological backgrownd were obtained with the exception of a previous amigdalectomy. The patient showed a unicystic lesion from de third molar on the right site and the CAT scan showed bucal and lingual cortical thinning preserving the inferior mandibular border. The lesion measured up to 35 mm in it´s greatest diameter and a incisional biopsy was performed finding a unicystic ameloblastona the treatment with enucleation and curettage followed by fixation with rigid plate was performed.
