ABSTRACT

The University Student Federation includes several movements that contribute to its proper functioning, among them, the student scientist plays a transcendental role. This article was developed with the aim of describing the work carried out by the Student Scientific Group of the University of Medical Sciences of Cienfuegos, in the period from January 2018 to March 2020. The scientific group has played a decisive role in the development student scientist of the university, from the creation of the magazine to the participation in class festivals, history forums and science festivals at different levels. In addition to monitoring the Movement of Student Assistants and the creation of research projects, which has contributed to carrying out impact tasks in the framework of national and international events.
