ABSTRACT

To identify the social causes that influence in the desertion of maternal nursing, carrying out an observational, transverse and prospective study where he/she took a sample of 80 puerperal of low risk and to parents of recently born of the pathological cunero, during their hospital stay, in both cases coming from the Units of Family Medicine of influence, you applies a questionnaire of 37 reagents. One carries out a visit it would domicile from 8 to 45 later days to the hospital expenditure, to check obtained data and at the same time to corroborate the maternal nursing. Most of the mothers puerperal received orientation of the alone Maternal Nursing 67%, in spite of it 65% feeds its baby with formula modernized, provided by its doctor family or particular.
