ABSTRACT

In the chronicles of Bolivia as a Latin American country, there were facts linked to serious violation of human rights and the forced disappearance of people, for a period of 18 years (1964 to 1982), to which the Condor Plan was added, in this context it is necessary to develop a protocol for the analysis of ancient skeletal remains that has as a milestone the year 1964 for its processing as forensic cases that concerns this type of investigation, whose most relevant purpose is the identification of human remains without dismissing the cause of death (trauma), date of death and others related to the case, which can scientifically guide the court and give peace to the family and society. In this sense, a response was given to cases considered ancient from the time of the dictatorships, thanks to the initiative of the IDIF experts with the necessary expertise and suitability, who proposed methods of suigéneris studies until that moment in their area, with procedures validated by the international scientific community, with the sole purpose of to support with their evidence this type ofresearch, of which one is the reason for this work with a history of violent death in times of dictatorship and dates from 42 years, which in this presentation is to make known the procedures carried out in order to be used as a guide for this type of studies.
