ABSTRACT

This article explores the evolution and impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical simulation and surgical education. It highlights the consolidation of clinical simulation as an essential resource in contemporary medical training and examines how AI, through language models and advanced algorithms, is transforming feedback, personalizing teaching, and enhancing assessment in simulated and real environments. Ethical and operational challenges are addressed, such as academic dishonesty and the lack of coherence in AI-generated responses, and future directions are outlined, including personalized learning, advanced simulation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
