ABSTRACT

Circumscribed palmoplantar hypokeratosis (cph) is an extremely rare condition characterized by focal thinning of the stratum corneum. The most common topography is the thenar and hypothenar regions of the palms and less frequently the soles. Currently, around 100 cases have been reported worldwide, less than 20 affection soles, and fewer with multiple lesions. We report a 68-yearold woman with circumscribed hypokeratosis on both palms and soles, treated with cryotherapy on the left sole and calcipotrienebetamethasone on the right sole.
