ABSTRACT

Basal cell carcinoma is one of the most frequent cutaneous malignancies. The main risk factor is exposure to ultraviolet radiation and therefore, the classic topography is sun-exposed areas, while its presentation at the axillary region is extremely rare with less than 70 cases reported in the literature. We report a 93-year-old woman with two simultaneous nodular basal cell carcinomas, the first one in the right zygomatic region, a sun-exposed area; and the second one in the right axilla, an unusual location, both treated surgically.
