ABSTRACT

Occupational health professionals, among any others activities, have a very important role in the prevention of health problems in employees. They are responsible of promoting and generating a positive conduct for a healthy life-style. However, it is difficult to make any changes in habits and customs that are dangerous for health; in this sense, educational health is basic. Therefore, professionals should have the elements and the necessary capacity to allow them to grow in this area with the employees. But this will be not enough while they do not realize and make conscious of the importance to have a guide conduct to maintain a healthy life-style by themselves, and as a result they will not understand the benefits that would bring to their employees to have a well-prepared professional as an example.
In this article you would see the results of the auto-evaluations that professionals in employees health about their life-style, their employee’s life-style, and the general knowledge that have about this issue did.
