A new environment in medical education in post-COVID-19 times

ABSTRACT

The application of social distancing measures during the COVID-19 pandemic led to the suspension of face-to-face medical education, and imposed its continuity in the distance learning modality. Inevitably this led to a debate and uncertainty about the best actions to follow to avoid negative impacts on the training of future health professionals. In this article, the authors propose to share with the scientific community some consideraciones that should be put into practice in medical education to face the challenges posed by the post-COVID-19 stage.
