I was born in Monterrey Mexico, the same city where I finished my MD degree at the Nuevo Leon Autonomous University.
I knew that I wanted to become an expert in the field of behavior since I was in my second year of medical school. Such idea materialized because my Neuroanatomy professor, Dr. Jesús Muraira, really inspired me during his lectures, especially one day, when he introduced me to the complexity of pathological behavior through a clinical example of an unfortunate person who developed Klüver-Bucy syndrome.
