ABSTRACT

We report a case of a 54-year-old male with a history of aortic coarctation with surgical correction at age of 27 years. He was diagnosed as transected and descending aortic dissecting aneurysm involving the supraaortic trunks. Total correction was performed in two surgical times. In the first one, through sternotomy, both a left aorto-carotid shunt as well as an aorto-brachiocephalic trunk with ringed prosthesis were achieved. In a second time by hemodynamic procedure via femoral, two aortic endoprostheses that exclude the false lumen were placed, without endoleak nor occlusion of the supraortic trunks. In posterior control by angiotomography well functional prostheses were observed.
