ABSTRACT
Metastatic cardiac tumors are 20-40 times more frequent than benign and malignant primitive cardiac tumors. Its incidence in autopsies is variable ranging between 10 and 20%. Cardiac metastases are more frequent in carcinomas than in sarcomas, they appear in patients older than 50 years and affectation by sex is similar. Metastatic synovial sarcoma of the heart is extremely rare with few reports in the world-wide literature. We report herein the case of a 21 year-old male underwent cardiac surgery with this pathology described above.REFERENCES
