ABSTRACT

We present herein three cases treated at our institution with diagnosed as partial anomalous pulmonary vein connection, whose manifestations of onset in adulthood presented as surpaventricular arrhythmias, corroborating diagnosis by different imaging methods (Echocardiogram and AngioTc), plus right cardiac catheterization to rule out pulmonary arterial hypertension and undergo surgical correction. The low incidence of partial anomalous connection of pulmonary veins in the adult and lack of experience in the diagnosis of this pathology make absolutely necessary the involvement of specialists in congenital heart disease altogether to corroborate the diagnosis and decision of the management and surgical treatment.
