ABSTRACT

Lichen planus is a common skin disorder of unknown etiology, that presents with a distinctive purple papular dermatosis. In most cases it is resolved spontaneously but in others might behave as a therapeutic challenge, because it doesn´t have a specific treatment. We here present a review of the literature.
