Ankyloglossy, tongue tie.

ABSTRACT

The authors present a tongue treatment, particularly when caught at the bottom of the mouth as an extension of the frenulum up to the caudal part of the tongue; giving the impression of a fixed and bifid tongue. A frenulum resection, reconstruction of the genioglossy muscle and suture of the mucous were proposed ending with a Z-plasty in order to create the new frenulum.
