ABSTRACT

Introduction: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is one of the most prevalent respiratory disorders, characterized by the collapsibility of the upper airway during sleep, which leads to intermittent hypoxemia episodes and sleep fragmentation. This negatively impacts patients’ quality of life.
The aim is to provide updated information on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
