Key words:

proximal humerus fractures, complex patterns, tomography.

Proximal humerus fractures represent approximately 5.7% of all fractures in adults, with an increase in incidence related to aging. They are the most common fractures in patients over 65 years of age. Most proximal humerus fractures have minimal displacement, but between 15 and 20% have variable and complex patterns.
