ABSTRACT
Introduction: obesity is positioned as the main modifiable risk factor for breast cancer. The objective of this study is to find an association between breast cancer and obesity in the Mexican population. Material and methods: an observational, cross-sectional, and analytical study was carried out in the Radiology and Imaging department of the Angeles Mocel Hospital. Results: information was collected from medical records that required a breast biopsy, and two study groups were established, the first with benign findings and the second with malignant findings. Conclusion: there are statistically significant differences in obesity and patients with breast cancer in our population.REFERENCES
