ABSTRACT
Introduction: the professional performance of the optometrist in the management of visual disturbances in childhood is of vital importance. Early diagnosis in children prevents any anomaly. Objective: the professional performance of the Optometrist and Optician in the diagnosis and management of strabismus. Development: the work of the graduate in Optometry and Optics is to put into practice the knowledge he/she has on health prevention and disease promotion in the management of strabismus. Conclusions: the professional performance of the Optometry and Optics graduate in the diagnosis and management of strabismus was defined for the application of technological procedures.
