Scientific production in the Cuban Journal of Health Technology

ABSTRACT

Introduction: the Cuban Journal of Health Technology is currently orienting its work towards open science. These practices facilitate collaboration, transparency and scientific integrity in the production of knowledge. Objective: to describe the scientific production in the Cuban Journal of Health Technology, in the period from January to June 2022. Method: a descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out. The universe consisted of the two issues published in the Cuban Journal of Health Technology from January to June 2022. The variables identified were number, quantity of publications, ethical aspects and typology. Results: the average number of publications up to June in volume 13 was 15 articles. International collaboration predominated in issue two of the journal with 35.7% of the articles. The country with the largest number of articles was Guatemala. Of the articles published, 66.6 % were of original type. Conclusions: the scientific production in the Cuban Journal of Health Technology, in the period from January to June 2022, was described.
