Methods: a descriptive, longitudinal and retrospective investigation was carried out, from September 2021 to January 2022 at Matanzas University of Medical Sciences; The theoretical methods applied were analysis-synthesis, historical-logical, and modeling; among the empirical ones: the teacher survey and the focal group technique. In addition, specialists were consulted to obtain evaluative criteria. Percentage analysis was used for the processing and presentation of the results.
Results: the fundamental contents of the workshop system were structured and the methodological guidelines for its practical implementation were conceived. In addition, an evaluative criterion was formed on its relevance from the consultation with specialists. Satisfaction was identified in the teachers participating in the workshops, who attributed high significance to the optimization of professional pedagogical performance in the interdisciplinary treatment of the prevention of occupational diseases.
Conclusions: the design of the workshop system evidenced potentialities for the optimization of postgraduate pedagogical professional performance in correspondence with the proposed objective, according to the criteria of specialists and the results of the practical implementation.
