ABSTRACT
Background: the methodological treatment of the evaluation taking into account its educational function contributes to student learning and the quality of the pedagogical process in the Medicine degree.Objective: design a system of actions for the methodological treatment of evaluation taking into account its educational function.
Methods: a development investigation was carried outin the Faculty of Medical Sciences at "Mariana Grajales Coello" University of Medical Sciences of Holguín, during the year 2022. Analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction and modeling were used as theoretical methods; empirical the review of documents and the specialists criteria. The research was carried out in three stages and the mixed approach was used to obtain evidence of its viability.
Results: the psychopedagogical mechanism that underlies the educational function of the evaluation was explained. The system of actions for the methodological treatment of the evaluation was defined taking into account its educational function, according to the content to be learned and the characteristics of the model of the Medicine degree professional; To achieve this, actions were required in the order of knowledge, skills and habits, students' relationships with the world, and the experiences of creative activity.
Conclusions: a system of actions was designed for the methodological treatment of the evaluation taking into account its educational function. The opinion of the specialists was adequate in relation to the system of actions.
