ABSTRACT
Electrical burns are a not so frequent presentation that can cause neurological complications in both the central and peripheral nervous systems and subsequently some degree of neurological disability of up to 50% according to the literature, taking into account that this type of injury They do not always present in isolation and may be associated with traumatic injuries, sometimes making diagnosis difficult. The following bibliographical review is presented together with a clinical case with neurological complications secondary to electrical and traumatic injury. With the objective of making known the clinical implications, diagnostic methods and therapeutic alternatives.
