ABSTRACT

In the era of digital transformation, digital competencies have become indispensable in all professional fields, including medical specialization. They allow them to adapt and take full advantage of the tools and technologies that are transforming medical practice. In the case of Gastroenterology residents, they allow them to access specialized online resources: scientific databases, medical journals and virtual communities of experts and to use technological tools to improve the efficiency and quality of their work. This gives them the opportunity to keep up to date with the most recent advances in the specialty and to share knowledge and experiences with colleagues from all over the world. The authors intend to communicate through this article a series of digital proposals useful in the process of formation of these competencies in postgraduate training.
