ABSTRACT
Extrarectal perineal tumors are rare and they are not clearly classified in the medical literature. They originate in the tissues of the perianal region, and in most cases, their growth is silent until symptoms become evident. These tumors range from benign to malignant, and their differential diagnosis can be challenging due to the diversity of tissues in the pelvic and perineal area. In our department, over the last few years, we have observed several perineal cases, out of which we selected six representative cases in five different types: two cases of leiomyoma, one pleomorphic undifferentiated sarcoma, one desmoid tumor, one aggressive perineal angiomyxoma, and one teratoma. This report presents their clinical presentation, some images obtained, and the surgical specimen.
