ABSTRACT

Endoscopic polypectomy by colonoscopy is the most effective treatment for reducing the incidence of colorectal cancer. The vast majority of lesions encountered in daily practice are polyps less than 10 mm in diameter and can be successfully resected using the cold snare technique. This procedure must be performed with precision to ensure the best results. We present its technical details for correct performance.
